Hours & River Conditions
The rain has us closed today while we wait for the river to drop down a bit. Tomorrow (Thursday) looks like it could be a really good day for canoeing, kayaking and rafting. Would you like to join us for a few hours? Plus, you’ll enjoy our weekday discounts.
With the great weather forecast for Saturday we will be open and running canoe, kayak and rafts Saturday the 18th of April, and run trips every hour on the hour from 10:00am to 3:00pm. We will only be offering the 1.5-3 hour Blue Jacket trip. Water level is great, and it is forecast to be upper 70’s and sunny! With the rain predicted we do not plan on being open Sunday the 19th.
With the end of September we will move to our Fall hours, open only with advance reservations.
Forecast is sunny and 80 both Saturday and Sunday, what a great weekend to enjoy the Little Miami one more time this season! We will be open both days with trip departures every hour on the hour from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
We are now open weekends through September with canoe, kayak and raft trips on the Little Miami River departing every hour on the hour from 10:00am to 4:00pm both Saturday and Sunday. Weekday trips are still available with reservation, and that can usually be done with just a phone call the day of.
The upcoming weekend of Saturday, August 9th and Sunday the 10th is looking great! The forecast is for low to mid 8o’s and mostly sunny. Trips depart every hour from 10am to 4pm, good to arrive about 30 minutes prior to your trip. Canoe rentals, kayak rentals and raft rentals available.
River conditions are great for mid-July with the level about 6-8 inches higher than most years. With the weather forecast of low 80’s and sunny it will be a great weekend on the River.
The river has receded substantially and we are back at a great spring level for the rest of today, Saturday the 21st. River level will be excellent for Sunday the 22nd of June. Canoe, kayak and raft trips will be going every hour on the hour from 10 am to 4 pm both days.
There is an update to the conditions post from yesterday, heavy rains have brought the river up to a spring level. We will still be open and running canoe, kayak and raft trips every hour on the hour from 10 – 4. We will restrict younger children to rafts only in the morning hours, and reevaluate as the level drops.
While some area rivers received too much rain and are too high to paddle, we lucked out and are at a great level for the weekend! We will be running canoe, kayak and raft trips every hour on the hour from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
