Kayak Rental

New Kayaks are Here!!

As Always New Kayaks

As Always New Kayaks

In keeping with our 26 year tradition of providing only the best equipment available we have almost completed our sale of last years kayaks and have taken receipt of this years kayaks. We have 50 brand new kayaks available from Perception, Wilderness Systems and our newest manufacturer Jackson Kayak. Over 5 models are available from Perception and Wilderness and include mostly sit-in kayaks to fit most paddlers. Jackson is providing both an extremely popular sit-on top kayak and a kayak that is designed for children from 50 to 100 pounds. We also have several tandem kayaks for 2 paddlers. Please keep in mind that many rentals have 1 or maybe 2 types of kayaks that are used over and over for many seasons until they are pretty much junk. At RiversEdge we are committed to operating in a different manner. We sell all of our rental kayaks before the start of the season so that we can always have nice new kayaks for our customers. We even offer a better paddle to make the most of your experience on the river. We invite you to come out and paddle a brand new kayak!

Read more about our canoe and kayak rental equipment by visiting our equipment page.  Also,  don’t forget to review our latest information on canoe, kayak and raft adventures on the little miami by visiting our homepage.

We will be OPEN this Weekend April 25-26!

We will be running the 2-hr Blue Jacket’s Best trip both Saturday and Sunday from 10am-3pm.  We will also be running the 4-hr Kenton’s Run Trip from 10am-1pm.  You can see a map and our rental rates here.
The Little Miami River is still a bit chilly, but air temperatures look like they’ll be in the 80s – and sunny!

That is insane how quickly the water recedes like that

Most of the rise is due to Storm Water coming off of impervious surfaces such as roads, driveways, parking lots, roofs and the like. One of the greatest threats to the Little Miami River is Urban Storm Water runoff which causes rapid rise in water levels ever deepening the main channel and creating steep banks along the sides of the river banks.

Here's the update video about 24 hours later. The river went up about 6 inches instead of dropping! Tomorrow it will be much lower. ... See MoreSee Less
