"My wife and I decided to celebrate our 47th anniversary by kayaking the Little Miami! And we used RiversEdge Outfitters to do it. They have the prettiest wee place just a few miles north of Waynesville with friendly guides who helped us have the time of our lives. They got us upriver and helped us launch into a veritable paradise of wilderness sights and paddling. Some time later we showed up downriver loaded with lots of happy memories. "I've been working with urban youth for about ten years, and taking groups canoeing almost every year. It is by far the most fun our kids have. So many have never even left the city, seen a canoe, or spent time anywhere in but in their dangerous neighborhoods. When we arrive, the enthusiasm is unreal. Their hearts are changed, many from anger, to fascination, and wonder. We get to see LARGE families or turtles sometimes, Herons, a myriad of Ohio's wildlife as the river is CLEAN, and always super refreshing!!!
