In fact, it’s one of only three federally and state-designated Scenic Rivers in the state of Ohio. For anyone seeking outdoor adventures on the Little Miami River, the local wildlife is a highlight: bald eagles, osprey, river otter, and beaver are all regular sightings, especially in spring and early summer. Most guests come for the recreation and are completely wowed by what they discover along the way.

Reservations are available online up to a year in advance and can often be made the same day. Kenton’s Run requires a reservation since we run limited vans. Walk-ups are welcome for Blue Jacket’s Best when space allows.
Cancellations are flexible and convenient. Full refunds are available with 24 hours notice, and we work with guests on weather-related changes regardless of timing. If thunderstorms are moving in, we’ll reach out directly to anyone who has a reservation that day.
RiversEdge works with a lot of groups, including day camps, 4H clubs, and youth organizations like the YMCA. Our large rafts hold up to 6 adults and are a common choice for youth groups because they’re stable, roomy, and nearly impossible to tip. Small rafts fit 2 to 3 adults plus kids.
Groups of 10 or more receive a 10% discount automatically through our reservation system. Groups of 20 or more receive 20% off. Educational and nonprofit organizations like schools, churches, and summer camps have a separate weekday rate of $20 per person.

RiversEdge sits between Dayton and Cincinnati along the Little Miami, about 30 minutes from downtown Dayton. For guests in search of Columbus river rentals, we’re about an hour southwest of the city, an easy drive for a full day on the river.
Arriving is straightforward. We recommend showing up 30 minutes before your departure on weekends, or 20 minutes ahead of time on weekdays. Check in at the desk, pick up your life jacket, load into the shuttle van, and you’re on the water in minutes!
